Kevin Thurston put me in check, letting me know that Mr. Unger's post cards partake in a long history of mail art. Kevin is your go to guy re: mail art. the two big one's i know about are Berrigan's postcard poems (i think pretty much the entire NY school (1st and 2nd) practiced this at one point))...and contemporarily...ken mikolowski...)
